Japan is known for its cherry blossoms,
but these in Washington DC,
provide stiff competition ahead of the US capital's annual Cherry Blossom Festival from 4-12 April..x..
Pretty.

I Have Fond Memories of these Trees.
As A Child After School Id Walk Past a Cherry Tree and Take the Flowers Off.
Id Take them home and put them in Some water for my Mum.
I Guess It Was The fact they Look SOO Pretty Blossoming..x..

Also When I Was In Nursery (I think Thatd Be Kinder Garden in The US)
When The Warmth would come Out lol...
We Would sit on the freshly cut grass under the HUGE Cherry tree as it blossomed and we would lay and listen to the teacher Reading us stories..x..
The Days We had No Worries..x..

Sweet story. Picking flowers while walking home was never a "do" for me, for my head was ALWAYS high above somewhere planted within the misty sky...waiting for a angel to come down and tell me; "...Tuesdai, you don't have to go to school anymore, YOUR year is already finsihed"..lol, of course NONE of that shows realistic, but from a child's view/imagination....going day in and out in that zone, WELL you see where I gained my "creativity" from all these year...the memories indeed.

I'm so glad you're back to blogging with us ...Green Peas & Frogs wearing leopard thongs...LOL

I'm off to post my daily dose on Behind the Inspiration. Bye
